FTSC Recreational Program

The FTSC Recreational (Rec) division has been created for players who want to have fun and learn the game of soccer. As players progress through the Rec program, they learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and have the opportunity to learn more advanced soccer skills. The Rec division plays two seasons each year, Fall and Spring. Each season has 8 games, all of which are played on our fields at Adams Elementary. Coaches determine practice times, but teams typically practice 1 or 2 times per week in addition to games, depending on the age group.

Depending on player counts, the older U16 and U19 age groups are often combined into one division. Currently FTSC divides the division into the following co-ed age groups:

Players need to bring a water bottle, shinguards, and a ball to each practice and to games. Soccer cleats are optional but highly recommended. Socks must cover the shinguards for safety.
